That's where the best video chat extension comes in - a powerful Chrome extension designed to simplify attendance tracking and improve team communication.
Track Attendance with Ease
Once you install this Chrome extension, tracking attendance in meet.google.com becomes a breeze. With just a single click, the extension seamlessly integrates with Google Meet, providing you with a dedicated button named "Track Attendance." This button appears at the bottom left of the Google Meet UI, making it easily accessible during your meetings.
By clicking the "Track Attendance" button, the extension's attendance tracking script automatically starts monitoring attendance. It displays the duration for which attendance is being monitored. If you need to generate an attendance report, simply click the button again, and voila - the report is ready!
Detailed Attendance Report
The generated attendance report provides you with comprehensive details that are invaluable for attendance tracking and analysis. The report includes:
-
Attendance tracking start time
-
Attendance tracking stop time
-
Total number of persons attended the meeting
-
Total class duration
-
Count of people who attended more than 65% duration of the class
-
Count of people who attended less than 65% duration of the class
-
List of all attendees with their total attended duration and attendance percentage
-
The data of people who attended less than 65% duration of the class highlighted in red color for easy identification

You can gain insights into the number of attendees, their overall duration of attendance, and the percentage of participants who attended the majority of the meeting.

20 Reviews For This Extension
This extension works very well...but it is difficult to access the records.
This add-on works. That's all you need to know
I'm wondering. Will it restart the counting timer for a student if he loses connection ?
It's a great tool! Thank you for this! Hoping to see the "First Seen" with logged time so we can track who came in early and who came late. For teachers, it's very important to tract early birds and late comers. Note that 80% attendance percentage of participant may mean good because it's 80% but what if the student/participant joined 20 minutes later from the time the tracking was started? See what I mean? Would be best to track First Seen in the report. Should say something like this: First Seen: 08:01:00.
It worked flawlessly for months when using companion mode and now the button to start tracking doesn't appear in when companion mode. When one is presenting they use companion mode when they need to sign into a conference room. I'm wondering if an update to Chrome based browsers has "broken" the apps ability to work in companion mode?
it works really well. great extension !!!
The latest update thankfully fixed the new UI issue. I find this to be the most precise in terms of tracking the duration each attendee is present in a meeting, it knows if someone is leaving and rejoin and adjust their duration based of how long the total time each person is present in the meeting. Not only that, you can manually record and save with a click of a button, which is very helpful if you need to take more than one attendance report in one session of meeting.
Super extenstion
Waw is the only word whenever I used the extension. Superb product guys. God Bless you all.
A great tool indeed for Google Meets...
Thanks a lot!! It's simple and has all we need. Great job!!
Best Tracker Ever, Just need e-mail based tracking. And How to access Old data
It doesn't collect emails or even joining names, at the barest minimum; only the number of participants. I guess it only works well with a classroom...
this is the best attendance tracer i found
Hi, It is an excellent extension. However, report doesn't show the absent attendees who were invited for the meeting. Can you please add this feature?
Has everything I needed. Made my life easier.
hello..This is a good attendance tracker..It would be a great extension if followings things are included 1) two columns that includes when a person joins a meeting and when he leaves a meeting 2)a google sheet Thanks looking forward to these things in future from ur extension
That's very nice! Test it!
It is also recording those who are invited but did not join the call at all. There is a new feature in google meet that you will see who are also invited but did not join the call and Google Meet Attendance Tracker also capturing them. I hope this get fixed since this is really helpful.
Missing Reports All my attendance reports and classes are missing. Is there any way I can recover it.
